| Unique qualities of the School: |
Al-Noor Academy, along with the Islamic Academy of New England, is a private, full time day school for grades 6th-12th. Founded in 2000, the curriculum of the school is approved by the Massachusetts Board of Education. The objective of Al-Noor is to provide quality Islamic and general high school education to students so as to prepare them to succeed not only in this life but in the next. With our dual enrollment program, many students are given the opportunity to achieve college credit by enrolling in local participating colleges alongside taking classes at the academy so as to acquire their high school diploma at a faster rate.
The school also provides for the extra-curricular needs of the students by hosting such events as annual sports days, poetry contests, Qiraat competitions, book fairs and science fairs. The school building itself provides for a spacious prayer hall, computer room, recreation room and library so as to facilitate students in their educational pursuits. We at Al-Noor hope that by instilling the values and teachings of Islam in our students on a daily basis, they become great leaders in the Muslim community, inshAllah! So join us today as registration is now open!
